About Me and this blog

Thank you very much for taking time to visit my blog.

Few words about me and this Blog....

I wonder if it really that important to brag about myself?. I have already written enough about me, through the articles and photos on this blog. I work in IT profession, living in Melbourne since last 13 years. I am a simple, straight forward, easy going person. Like to make lot of friends and interested in Yoga and spirituality ever since childhood. I come from South India. My hobbies include Yoga, Meditation, and reading books, listening to Music and travelling. Apart from these, I also used to be vivid Bird Watcher, Nature lover and worked for social causes. Currently, I am just a busy Dad trying to manage my work and life with two energetic kids and a wife.

My Mantra for Life...
Please, allow me to quote..

"I hope that my achievements in life shall be these — that I will have fought for what was right and fair, that I will have risked for that which mattered, and that I will have given help to those who were in need that I will have left the earth a better place for what I've done and who I’ve been. – C. Hoppe"

Why this Blog and who is a Urban Yogi..
This blog is dedicated to all those, who are trying to look at this complex thing called life from a different outlook. I want to convey the wonderful messages from the age old wisdom and literature of India, which if we actually take in a right perspective will dramatically change our view of life. Add a rich meaning and happiness to the heart and strength to the mind.
My definition of a Urban Yogi would be one, who is trying to find the meaning of life. Someone or anyone who is busy working and yet trying to balance life with a bit of spirituality. Who considers that this body is not just a bunch of chemicals and this life is not a mere chance. Whatever may be your thinking, belief and faith, I respect and value whatever you’re thinking and values and invite you to explore this world of an Urban Yogi. (Some company's mission statement I guess) Together we make a difference.
